A wedding at the edge of the Rocky Mountain National Park
AA Barn is a historic barn in the National Forest just outside of Rocky Mountain National Park, and Mary and Essie chose a beautiful, somewhat rainy day in the summer to get married, and I was thrilled to get to capture it.
Rain on your wedding day is what you make of it
It's not the conditions that count, but the attitude the participants have. Sure, it rained a bit, but so what? I think it added to the beauty of the day, and certainly made for great pictures!
So if it rains, or snows, or it's cold, embrace it!
Perfect days do not exist. Dresses will get dirty, brides may get dropped in group photos, but laugh, enjoy the absurdity, and embrace it. Sara and Essie certainly did!
