A beautiful January day to get married

It is not the venue that really matters, or the food, or the DJ, or even the photographer who makes the day special. It's the couple who really make the day what it is. Their attitude, their aura influences everything. A bride or groom who is not having fun casts a pall over everything. This is why you must set aside your frustrations that the cake is leaning or the DJ is only playing polka music, and just enjoy the day. This is the start of one of the biggest adventures of your life, and it is meant to be enjoyed. Otherwise, what's the point? So get out there, cast your worries aside, and have some fun!

Having fun was no challenge for this happy couple! Colleen and Seamus have an ease about them, a friendliness that infused the day with an atmosphere of relaxed revelry. They flow together well, and all their world flows as a result. This is what I strive for.

They got married at a stately old mansion in the heart of Denver, the same mansion where Seamus took her on their first date. I like the symmetry of that.

The mansion had pictures of weddings from the early 1900's, so I thought it would be fun to have Colleen and Seamus get into an old fashioned, serious pose and then through Photoshop trickery, I'd make it look as old as those other pictures.
