What's a half wedding?
The pandemic has taken its toll on weddings this year, for sure! Originally, Kristin and Tommy were going to have their wedding all on one day, as most people do! But with Covid throwing a wrench in so many plans, they came up with a compromise. Have the actual ceremony this year, and the reception in 2021. As a photographer, this opened up a lot of time on the day. Usually the wedding day is a mad rush from prep to ceremony to eating and dancing, and the time for me to work with the couple is quite limited. But not on this rainy day in June!
Although the day was brisk and cool with patches of rain coming through, spirits were bright. Kristin and Tommy clearly really love each other and enjoy each other's company, and the pictures of the day show that. I am very much looking forward to seeing them next year for the rest of their wedding!
